GSK Stockmann at the TSI Congress 2020

GSK Stockmann is sponsor of the TSI Congress 2020: Asset Based Finance 4.0 – Financing in Transition taking place from 1 to 2 October 2020 – onsite in Berlin and online.

This year’s TSI Congress falls into a time of change and upheaval of historic proportions. Twelve years after the financial crisis in 2008, the world has been shaken by a pandemic that is fundamentally affecting the financial markets and the real economy. Even if we are now transitioning to a functioning social and economic life, the ‘post-coronavirus’ world will never be the same again. And yet, in these last weeks we have seen that many things that once seemed impossible are possible after all. TSI will use these developments and provide fresh ideas and concepts to give new impetus and support to the network. In times of crisis, TSI’s themes are also more topical than ever before. The contribution of asset-based finance and securitisation to the financing of the economy and the dialogue between the real economy and the financial sector with politicians and supervisors are crucial.

The TSI Congress has always been a place of communication and exchange, and since 2007 the congress has provided a platform for all stakeholders in the German and European securitisation market. With the step to set up the congress as a hybrid event for the first time, i.e. onsite in Berlin and as a streamed top event on the Internet, a new era has started.

Dr. Timo Bernau, Partner at GSK Stockmann in Munich, will moderate the discussion forum “Market talk: Securitisation 4.0 – ABCP on the blockchain” taking place on day 2 of the congress from 09:30 to 10:30. Andreas Heinzmann, Partner at GSK Stockmann in Luxembourg, will be speaker at the discussion forum “The modernisation of the Luxembourg Securitisation Law and the Luxembourg tool box” on day 2 of the congress from 09:30 to 10:30.
