GSK Stockmann supports “Fundraising for Your Luxembourg Vehicle in China” conference by Chinalux and LPEA in Luxembourg

After a first joint event in 2017, LPEA and Chinalux partner again for a private equity event focused on the Chinese market. This edition will explore the challenges of fundraising from Chinese investors and setting up the necessary vehicles. With six major Chinese banks established in Luxembourg, often working hand in hand with Chinese investors, we expect this session to provide clarity into the legal and tax aspects of fundraising in China and obtain first-hand testimonial from experts and fund managers dealing with Chinese investors.

GSK Stockmann will be represented at the conference by Marcus Peter(lawyer and partner at our GSK office in Luxembourg) as moderator. The topic will be “Sell Your Luxembourg Fund to Chinese Investors”. In addition, Yi Wang (Associate at our GSK office Luxembourg) will participate at the conference.

This LPEA & Chinalux event will bring together over 100 professionals from the financial center interested in the latest trends on private equity relations between Luxembourg and China. With speakers coming from both countries, it will be a point of contact for general partners (GPs) and for advisers servicing the private equity and venture capital sector to exchange first-hand insights from practitioners active in this space.
