The current Luxembourgish legal framework regulates the access and use of cannabis for medical use, but is still criminalizing the possession and production of cannabis for recreational use.
The Grand-Duchy announced its plan to legalize cannabis for recreational use and production in Luxembourg. A legalized recreational cannabis market would allow market participants to use the full scale of the financial centre’s holding structures and instruments for European-wide operations.
